Caroline received her Bachelor of Science degree from East Carolina University in 2000. Caroline continued her education at Boulder College of Massage Therapy and completed their 1000 hour certification program in 2001.

Caroline has practiced massage therapy for over  22+ years. In 2009, Caroline cofounded and opened Refresh-ology Aesthetics and Massage Therapy. Caroline has worked in both spa and medical clinical settings. While working in the spa industry, 2001-2007; Caroline served as Lead Massage Therapist for the Ritz Carlton in Beaver Creek, Colorado. Her duties included supervising the massage therapy team, providing 5 star service/ massage to all guest and clients of the spa, and creating/ implementing treatment training programs. In 2007, Caroline moved back to her beloved East Carolina, Greenville, NC to pursue her dream of opening her own private massage practice. From 2007- 2009, Caroline operated and owned a private massage therapy practice in Greenville , NC. In 2009, she co-founded and opened Refresh-ology Aesthetics and Massage Therapy.

Her past and present massage experience has allowed her the opportunity to work on a diverse population of clients seeking massage for both relaxation and specific medical conditions. She has worked on athletes with sports related injuries, along side physical therapists and with doctors for specific medical conditions, in hospitals, and for local sporting events. Her massage modalities include: Deep tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation stretching, FLoating Hammock Massage, Ashiatsu, Swedish, Cupping, Sports, & Orthopedic Masssage.

Paige Thomas Parks

Massage Therapy

Paige completed the 950-hour Massage Therapy program at Miller-Motte College in Greenville, NC, earning her Associates Degree in Massage Therapy. She has been practicing since December 2012 and has been a part of the Refresh-ology team for the past 9 years.

Prior to joining Refresh-ology, Paige gained extensive experience working in an integrated medical facility alongside chiropractors and nurse practitioners, providing treatment-based massage therapy.

Paige enjoys working with clients who are establishing or maintaining self-care routines. Whether clients are active and seeking recovery support, working to restore flexibility and mobility, or managing chronic conditions, she helps them find the right approach to care for themselves and those around them.

Paige has completed advanced training and certifications including Study Abroad Advanced Thai Yoga Massage (2016), Advanced Ashiatsu (2021), and became a Floating Hammock Massage Instructor in 2024. Since 2022, she has been developing Floating Hammock Massage alongside its creator, Anna Dixon, bringing a fresh and innovative modality to her clients.

Her massage modalities include: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Floating Hammock Massage, Sarga Silks, Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage, and Thai Yoga Massage.

Caleb Woolard

Caleb received his Associates Degree in Massage Therapy from Pitt Community College after completing their 1500+ hour program between 2006 and 2010. He has been practicing massage therapy for over 15 years.

Caleb has experience in massage therapy offices, spas, and chiropractic clinics, focusing on providing therapeutic treatments for both acute and chronic pain. He enjoys helping clients identify the source of discomfort and designing personalized sessions to achieve lasting relief.

Caleb recently completed the 135-hour Complete Lymphedema Therapy Certification through the Academy of Lymphatic Studies in 2025. He plans to pursue certification in Orthopedic Massage and Assessment in 2026 to continue expanding his expertise.

His massage modalities include: Deep Tissue Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish Massage, and Hot Stone Massage.

Maria Gutierrez Galeas

Maria completed the 688-hour Therapeutic Massage Certificate Program at Johnston Community College in 2024. She began her massage training in 2023 and became a Licensed Massage Therapist in North Carolina in 2024.

Maria previously worked in a spa environment, focusing on combining relaxation with therapeutic techniques. She has experience helping a wide variety of clients, including older adults, healthcare professionals, office and blue-collar workers, and others seeking relief from muscular discomfort and stress.

Maria enjoys collaborating with her clients to identify their goals for each session and tailor treatments to meet their individual needs. She strives to support overall well-being by relieving pain, reducing stress, and improving mobility.

In 2025, Maria completed training in FasciAshi Fundamentals: Beginner Barefoot Massage. She continues to develop her skills in Ashiatsu and other therapeutic modalities.

Erica Castellanos

Erica completed the 750-hour massage therapy program at Aveda Institute in West Des Moines, Iowa from 2016–2017. She has been practicing massage therapy for 9 years, bringing experience from both spa environments and clinical settings, including chiropractor offices and hospice care.

Erica enjoys working with a wide variety of clients and believes that massage therapy is beneficial for anyone, whether for relaxation, stress relief, or pain management. She approaches each session with the goal of helping clients feel restored, balanced, and supported in their overall wellness.

Her certifications include Cupping (2022) and Blading (2022). She continues to develop her skills to provide safe and effective treatments tailored to each client’s needs.

Erica’s massage modalities include: Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Prenatal Massage, Hot Stone Massage, Cupping Therapy, Blading, Foot Reflexology, and Aromatherapy.

Alivia Evans

Skincare, Aesthetics, & Waxing

Alivia studied with The School of Natural Skincare and earned her diploma in Natural Skincare Formulation in 2018, pursuing her passion to learn and educate how nature and science can come together to heal us from the inside out. In 2019, Alivia created Be Still Botanicals, a natural skincare line ranging from body creams and healing balms to facial cleansers and tonics. Alivia's work with formulations has given her a deep appreciation for the impact ingredients have on our bodies, inspiring her to work one-on-one with clients to address their skin's specific needs. 

In 2022, Alivia completed Edgecombe Community College's Esthetics Technology Program, earning her Esthetics license. Since then, she’s enjoyed incorporating different modalities such as microdermabrasion, LED light therapy, lymphatic drainage, cupping, and more into her treatments to enhance skin renewal and rejuvenation. She loves the opportunity aesthetics gives her to work individually with clients, using her background in formulation to pick the best treatments for their skin.

Alivia specializes in all areas of skincare treatments and also provides a variety of waxing services. Her treatments include: Signature Facials, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Brow Waxing, Brow Tinting, Body Waxing, as well as Bikini + Brazilian services.

Jessica Hudson

Originally from Greenville, NC--Jessica has lived and traveled far and wide to gain experience and education in the hospitality industry. Having received a BSBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Appalachian State University she realized she flourishes in working with people and creating one of a kind experiences for all clients and guests. 

Her first experience working in the spa and wellness industry was working at Westglow Resort and Spa, one of Travel + Leisure’s rated top destination spas in the US. Working at Westglow’s Life Enrichment Center she was introduced to the Spa industry understanding how wellness, relaxation, and overall health go hand in hand.

Her hospitality career led her to working as the Marketing Coordinator for The Lost Colony in Manteo, NC as well as moving abroad to further enrich her experience and education in hotels. Jessica has spent time in Nicaragua, Spain, and Morocco experiencing their cultures and and gaining experience with guests from all walks of life
